Saukville Fire Department Memorial

HURTH Waterscapes is proud to have been
involved in a truly special tribute to the Firefighters and EMT's of The
Saukville Fire Department. On June 9th, 2007, the completed
memorial was dedicated during a ceremony and the Dueling Hydrants were
brought to life in front of an enthusiastic large crowd of on-lookers.
These authentic fire hydrants were customized, restored, and installed
by HURTH Waterscapes as one part of the memorial.

The complete memorial consists of a Maltese Cross
brick walkway, also designed and installed by HURTH Waterscapes
featuring engraved bricks of past, present, and future members of the
department. Three new flag poles, some finish landscaping, and
monetary donations were made by other local Saukville businesses to
bring the project to reality. The initial design and concept were
started in March of 2006 when a fundraiser was started by the department
to raise money for the project. HURTH Waterscapes donated all
design and installation labor time on the brick walkway, as well as the
complete water feature. This is truly a one-of-a-kind memorial!
Any interested persons are encouraged to stop and
view the memorial, located on the east side of the Saukville Fire House
(on Hwy 33).
